The Varnet Marine Group (VMG) is a privately held Perantsan conglomerate active in naval engineering, commercial shipbuilding, and metals manufacturing. Headquartered in Peran, Perantsa, the group controls major maritime assets, including Peran Steel Works (PSW) and the Peran Shipyard, one of the nation’s largest naval production centres.

History

  • Traces its origins to the Varnet Maritime Workshops, founded in 1946 by industrialist Henri Varnet following the post-war expansion of Perantsa’s shipbuilding sector.
