Dusar Ridge

Dusar Ridge is a Terrain, located in Perantsa.

Dusar Ridge is a long, low escarpment on the eastern side of the Arent.

Its dark rock outcrops and scrub forests stand above the green of the valley.

A string of windbreak woods and small quarries runs along its crest; stone from Dusar’s pits is used for farm buildings, river dikes, and the cobbles in many town squares.

Locals joke that the ridge “holds back Harand,” as the first distant lights of the big inland city are visible from some of its lookouts on clear nights. Weather from the interior tends to break against the ridge, so storms often slide past on the plains while the valley beneath stays oddly still and humid.
